srsammut@maltanet.netFor a fun outing, informal atmosphere accompanied by excellent traditional Maltese cuisine, there is only one place to visit ... Il-Barri Restaurant. Bachelor's, hen's parties, night outs and the groups of regulars who frequent the place make the atmosphere livelier and more relaxed. Typical Maltese "Fenkata" (rabbit) dishes galore are the speciality of the house and not to be missed. Equally popular amongst the locals and tourist alike, Il-Barri Restaurant, hosted by Stephen is one of the islands landmarks. Situated in the main square in Mgarr, it is located on top of a Second World War shelter. So come along and bring your family and friends and join us for an enchanting meal to remember. Open daily: Monday – dinner only; Tuesday to Sunday – lunch and dinner

Visited Il-Barri Restaurant on a number of occasions - it tends to get super busy on Saturday nights so we prefer to visit on Sundays for dinner when it is much more quiet and relaxed and in turn the foods is always better.
Their pizzas are delicious and they specialise also in Maltese dishes.
Surely recommend
