MIA is one of the most welcoming airports, with security in place but still having a relaxed atmosphere. It's really nice to hear someone playing the piano in the departure lounge while waiting to board. Could do with more points where to sit and charge your phone or tablet. Food is quite pricey for the quality offered. Staff are always friendly.

I find MIA to be a great airport and the VIP Lounge is a great place to unwind before a long flight. However, the main restaurants and shops are rather pricy and I do actually try avoid shopping there. Apart from that, the service at MIA is superior and mostly punctual.
