John Micallef entered the construction industry under the company name of John Micallef Builders Ltd in 1994 with the launch of a small construction firm capable of handling small projects. However, the company quickly evolved and embarked on greater projects, such as the building and operation of the petrol service stations in Zejtun and Rabat.

The group’s latest project has been the construction of a state-of-the-art petrol service station in Rabat. This service station provides several services, comprising fuelling, car wash and valet services, routine servicing and wheel balancing, sale of tyres and car parts, a snack bar and also a Maltco authorised agent.
