Back in 1995, Victor Zammit left his family business to form his own company, AMC Marketing Ltd. Having had disposables as a sideline in the family business, Victor started a new venture focusing solely on disposables and packaging materials and that is how AMC was born. It all started from a small office in Sliema and a small garage in Birkirkara, importing just a couple of containers a year. Today, AMC has moved to larger, more modern premises in Burmarrad, Naxxar, occupying 1,500sq metres of stores and offices employing over 20 people and boasts to be one of the leading importers and distributors of disposables and packaging materials.

In 2009, Victor’s son Christopher, joined AMC and this, together with a successful team of hard-working individuals, has helped the company to grow even further. AMC has since introduced packaging machinery and has ventured into customising packaging items for various industries thus offering an overall service.

AMC has set up shop within its premises where customers can buy disposables directly off the shelf. What’s more, this showroom is the perfect place for new and old clients to meet with the specialised staff to discuss and obtain any information they may require for their business. Furthermore, AMC offers a marketing service in the form of an in-house designer for those who are interested in creating a design, be it a logo or actually designing a packaging item. The marketing department is headed by Martina Zammit, Victor’s daughter.
