The LightShop Limited was founded in 1996 and established itself in Birkirkara (B’Kara) in the heart of the Island of Malta.

As Philips Consumer Lighting representative for Malta and the sister island of Gozo, we also seek outside Malta for partners and customers. Our main aim is total customer satisfaction in both our products and service.

The LightShop started with the brand Massive, now a sub brand of Philips. In 1998, we introduced Brilliant to the Maltese market and both brands were and still are, very popular with the Maltese, due to the variety of products.

The LightShop's range of products includes modern lighting, contemporary lighting, classical lighting, decorative lighting and design lighting.

As a long time Massive representative, the name changed to Philips Consumer Lighting in 2008 and LED lighting by Philips was introduced for the first time ever in home lighting, or consumer lighting.

Ceiling fans are one of the latest creations of The LightShop. “Silent run” fans, which means no noise of the engine or the blades and a guarantee up to 15 years! Top quality fans for more than affordable prices!

The latest product range is that of the stadium lights in LED, introduced by us to all sports clubs like football, tennis, hockey, rugby, etc. A smart system, which can control the stadium lights via an iPad or even via a mobile phone, as long as the required software is installed, in other words, extremely user-friendly! Dynamically used, this will save a lot of energy and money.
