Valletta Gateway Terminals Ltd (VGT), a subsidiary of Portek Group in Singapore, holds a 30-year concession, jointly with Tumas Group of Malta, to manage and operate the multi-purpose facilities at Malta’s Grand Harbour.

This harbour has a depth which allows for the berthing of many types of vessels. Its central location enables VGT and logistic providers to offer an effective distribution network that meets the demand of local industries and consumer.

VGT has an agreement with a reliable local subcontractor to ensure that heavy machinery operations can also be handled with the aim to provide unparalleled service to the customers.

With the availability of three large sheds at DWQ, cargo could be stored inside, thus be protected from natural elements such as rain, sun, wind, sea-water spray etc. The sheds are under security surveillance thus ensuring that all types of cargo is stored safely.
